This quote from George Washington adorns a Veterans of Foreign Wars memorial at the foot of David's street in Crockett. To me it symbolizes the cracked "logic" that our current government follows and believes while our actions continue to have horrific consequences for our country and for the world.
I hope for a new year during which we can begin to follow a different path.
